~ Program Agenda ~
The Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) can provide defense attorneys with important data and serve as a significant investigation tool which has the power to open doors to material and exculpatory information. This session will outline the nuts and bolts of CORA, such as how to make a CORA request, how to issue a request for specific documents in specific cases, and the related timeframes and costs involved with a CORA request. The session will also address strategy related to CORA requests, how to use the documents produced to further investigation, how to object to documents that are not produced, and how to use CORA to further your subpoena practice.
